Attorney Headshot

YURIDIA LIZARRAGA

Legal Assistant

Born in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico at four years of age, I was brought to the United States. When I was twenty-three years old, I received notice of immigration proceedings against me. I was suddenly placed in deportation. This was the scariest time of my life. I was lost and worried about what would happen with me, but I knew that being deported to Mexico was not an option. I fought for my right to stay in this country and obtain legal status. Receiving legal status in the United States has changed my life for the better. My own battle for legal status was what inspired me to pursue a career as a legal assistant. I know firsthand what it’s like to be in your shoes and not know where to start. This is why I have dedicated myself since 2014 to helping others fight for the immigration cases. Together with Alicia Wheeler, I know I am part of a team that helps others obtain the American dream.
