TPS Update

On January 10, 2025, the Department of Homeland Security announced an 18-month extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Venezuela, set to run from April 3, 2025, to October 2, 2026. However, on January 28, 2025, this decision was overturned, and the extension was vacated.


At this time, TPS for Venezuela is set to expire, and protections will be lost on the date of expiration. We highly recommend speaking with an immigration attorney as soon as possible to discuss your options and plan the next steps for your cases.
